I am sure we all know that some States on the African continent can be defined as failing States. That is very important because in a democracy, citizens need to be informed of and critically evaluate the state of the nation, including the values upon which their nation is founded. Of course, that debate, if informed by a strong media, especially the private media, would go a long way in building the nation. However, in agreeing with it, I have an appeal to make.
