After that she played with George Clooney in another action-thriller, The Peacemaker , before changing pace and played one of a family of sister-witches along with Sandra Bullock, Stockard Channing, and Dianne Wiest in Practical Magic By the end of the s Kidman had gone from being a promising Aussie actress making small local films to being one of the major international actresses, and making films seen around the world by millions.
