Given only three days to complete a mysterious task, the characters must explore the town, defend themselves against hostile entities, and work to survive against all odds.
Termina marks a distinct change from the previous game by easing up on some of its unforgiving brutality, while also introducing new mechanics and quality-of-life upgrades, like "lucky coins", which became so popular that they were quickly added to the first game. As with its predecessor, the game is notable for its depictions of graphic violence, nudity and sexual assault.
