In learning language, reading plays an important role which helps to build students' oral competency.

It will help increase students' vocabulary, knowledge and ability to understand better and consequently make them succeed in language learning. Thus, academic scrapbooking activity is innovated as a way to get the students to read.

A set of questionnaire was used as a tool to investigate the students' perception on the benefits of academic scrapbooking activity towards their reading interest.

The result shows that the students have positive perceptions towards the academic scrapbooking activity.
