Fired it up, lights were bright. Revved the engine, blew the bulb. SIP Speedo stopped working; revcounter got stuck, digital display disappeared, indicator lights frozen in illuminated state 5. Dug up a 3-prong voltage regulator from the wife's LML 6.

Installed that 7. Replaced the bulb 8. Fired it up; lights were bright and did not blow from high revs 9. SIP speedo now only kind of works. Below rpm it runs fine. Above rpm it exhibits the same behaviour: revcounter freezes, digital display blanks. Below rpm it does the reset like it's being started and functions OK.
